Information we collect
When you request services, we may collect your name, email address, target role, experience level, career goals, job-posting links, verified achievements, résumé or related career documents, and voluntary service feedback. Stripe processes payment details; RoleMettle does not receive or store your full card or bank information.
Information you should not send
Do not submit Social Security numbers, birth dates, financial information, identity documents, medical information, passwords, verification codes, or full street addresses. City and state are normally enough for a résumé.
How we use information
We use submitted information only to answer questions, prepare and revise the service you purchased, confirm facts, deliver files, provide support, prevent abuse, and keep reasonable business records. We do not sell personal information or use client résumés to train a public model.
Privacy-conscious site traffic counts
To understand whether the website is being found and which public pages are useful, RoleMettle records limited, first-party traffic totals. These records include the requested public page, the time of the request, a broad referral category such as Direct, Google, or LinkedIn, and whether a checkout link was opened. We do not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, full referral URLs, advertising identifiers, or cross-site profiles for this purpose. Obvious automated traffic is excluded, and traffic records are retained for no more than 90 days.
AI-assisted, human-reviewed work
RoleMettle uses professional writing tools, including AI, to assist with drafting and editing. Every career document is personally reviewed, fact-checked against the information provided, and refined by a human. We never invent qualifications, experience, or achievements.
Customer feedback and public permission
A feedback request is sent only after project delivery from the owner-only workspace. Feedback is private by default. A separate, optional checkbox is required before RoleMettle may quote it publicly, and customers may choose an anonymous display name. Public feedback is reviewed for private information before publication and is not rewritten. Permission may be withdrawn through an active feedback link or by emailing support.
Storage, access, and retention
Intake records and uploaded files are stored in private website storage and are not published through a public file link. Access is limited to the RoleMettle owner for service delivery. Intake files are scheduled for deletion 120 days after submission and may be deleted sooner upon a verified request, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for an active dispute or legal obligation.
Unused feedback links expire after 45 days. Private submitted feedback is scheduled for deletion after one year. Feedback that a customer permits RoleMettle to publish may be retained while that permission remains active and can be removed upon a verified request.
Service providers
We use service providers for website hosting, secure storage, email, and payment processing. They receive only the information needed to perform those functions and handle it under their own security and privacy terms.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the information associated with your order by emailing support@rolemettle.com. We may need to verify the request using the order email and intake reference.
Changes and questions
We may update this notice as the service changes. The current effective date appears above. Privacy questions can be sent to support@rolemettle.com.
